Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling friction to lubricate an internal engine.SOLUTION: The method for lubricating an internal engine containing at least one of a crank case, a gear and a wet clutch includes a step of feeding a lubricating composition containing (a) an oil having a lubricating viscosity, (b) a boron-containing compound, and (c) a friction regulating agent to the crank case, the gear and the wet clutch. A method is advantageous if there is the method for lubricating an internal engine having at least one of a crank case, a gear, a change gear system and a wet clutch. The present invention provides the method for lubricating an internal engine while controlling the friction.
