Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve penetration depth deeper than the penetration depth using He single gas as shielding gas even when using He-Ar mixed gas or He-Nmixed gas as the shielding gas.SOLUTION: There is provided a laser welding method for welding while spraying the shielding gas coaxially with laser beam from the tip of a nozzle to a welding part of a material to be welded. The He-Ar mixed gas or He-N2 mixed gas having volume portion of He being 30-90% is used as the shielding gas. A distance L between the tip of the nozzle and the material to be welded to an inner diameter D of the nozzle is set to a range of 2D≤L≤3D for welding.
