Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stereoscopic display to be limited so as not to impose excessive load on the user in a display device which, by detecting user operation on the display screen three-dimensionally, realizes stereoscopic display corresponding to the operation performed.SOLUTION: A display device is capable of stereoscopic display of images and incorporates a proximity sensor which detects proximate operation by an indication element. The proximity sensor has a predetermined region (detectable region) in which it can accept operation. The display device permits the user to set, separately from the detectable region, another region (control subject region) in which it can accept operations concerned with stereoscopic vision. When a position detected by the proximity sensor is included in the detectable region (Yes in S1) and also included in the control subject region (Yes in S2), the display device produces stereoscopic display according to the position. If the position detected by the proximity sensor is included in only the detectable region, it does not produce stereoscopic display. |
