Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote image reading system capable of determining matching between observation data recorded on an image read report and image read data.SOLUTION: A remote image reading system 100 includes: an image read-request apparatus 1 located at a medical facility which makes a request to read a piece of image data; and an image read apparatus 2 located at a medical facility which receives the request to read the image and creates an image read report based on a reading result of the image data supplied by the medical facility requesting the image reading. The remote image reading system 100 also includes a matching state determination section 14 that determines the matching between observation data of the image read report and the image read data on the basis of a piece of report identification information of the image read report created by the image read apparatus 2 and a piece of image identification information of the image read data attached to the image read report.
