PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method or the like for acquiring a microcapsule composition, hardly clogging a filter of a scattering nozzle even when carrying out the scattering by using the scattering nozzle.SOLUTION: The method for acquiring the microcapsule composition includes removing nonspherical resin solid bodies in a crude microcapsule composition L by a filter 1 by sending the crude microcapsule composition L from a circulation tank 2 through a pump P to the filter 1. The crude microcapsule composition L discharged from the filter 1 is circulated by being returned to the circulation tank 2 again through a three-way valve 4. The content of the nonspherical resin solid bodies or the like in the crude microcapsule composition is gradually reduced to a prescribed value or below by repeatedly passing the crude microcapsule composition L through the filter 1 while preventing the clogging of the filter material 7. When the content of the nonspherical resin solid bodies or the like becomes the prescribed value or below, the microcapsule composition is collected by sending the microcapsule composition to a product tank 3 by switching the three-way valve 4 to the product tank 3 side.
