Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless device having configurable operation modes for using a wireless device in particular environments.SOLUTION: A wireless device having user-defined configurable modes includes a memory having at least one configuration segment containing configuration information relating to at least one application or mode. When a user enters the user-defined configuration, a control processor configures the wireless device on the basis of the configuration information. To facilitate operation, the above aspects may be incorporated into operation such that a single key stroke or key operation implements a configuration change.
