Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antenna which improves the reliability of the quality with easy operation and a communication device having the antenna.SOLUTION: An antenna 10 includes: a base printed layer 2 printed into a predetermined antenna pattern on a surface of a printed body 1; and an electroless plating layer 3 formed on a surface of the base printed layer 2. The base printed layer 2 is formed by an ink 2a and metal powder 2b, and a part of particles of the metal powder 2b is incorporated into an ink layer where the ink 2a is printed so as to have a substantially uniform thickness. A part of the particles having large particle diameters protrudes from the ink layer, and a part of the ink 2a covering the protruding part is removed.
