SWITCHING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching apparatus capable of easily and certainly obtain an operation state in a short time, while holding the compactness of the apparatus.SOLUTION: A switching apparatus comprises: a switch case body 1 having a surface in which a first display part 1a capable of transmitting the light representing switching functions is provided thereon; a light source 3 for illumination; a light source 4 for displaying selection; a transparent light guide plate 7 in which one edge part projects into the switch case body 1, an intermediate part projects from a surface of the switch case body 1 to the outside, and the other edge part extends toward a front of the first display part 1a, and which bends against the first display part 1a freely movably forward and backward and guides the light for illumination from the light source 3 for illumination to the other edge part; a touch panel 8 provided on a part corresponding to the first display part 1a of the transparent light guide plate 7; and a control part 2 for controlling the light source 4 for displaying selection.
