PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flash memory device, even when being reset during copying a latest value between blocks, recognizing a true latest value.SOLUTION: When a block management value is made an active state, the block management values are set to differ according to blocks and sequentially increase. For example, a first block B1 stores "$1111" and a second block B2 stores "$1112" as block management values respectively. Thus, even when a plurality of blocks are present in active states, a latest value is read from the block that stores a larger block management value. This allows for the true latest value to be read.
