Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel processing method and apparatus that allow harmful substances contained in radioactive effluent to be immobilized under simple control without causing the harmful substances to be vaporized and diffused into the environmental atmosphere.SOLUTION: A processing method for radioactive effluent is provided. Radioactive effluent and alkoxide are mixed in a reaction vessel, and the radioactive effluent is gelled by a sol-gel method. Then, the gelled radioactive effluent is dried in a drying machine, to obtain dried gel of the radioactive effluent, which is then pulverized by a pulverizer to obtain pulverized substances. The pulverized substances and cement are then kneaded in a solidified-body producing device, and the pulverized substances are solidified with cement.
