DUST COLLECTOR FOR WATER INTAKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector for water intake in which dust flowing from a water source can be surely collected and the collected dust can be removed without loading a large work burden on a worker, in spite of simple configuration.SOLUTION: A dust collector for water intake comprises: a support shaft body which is disposed higher than a screen installed in a water intake; a flexible net member of which one end is connected directly or indirectly to the support shaft body and which is disposed so as to be drooped in front of the screen; a guide body which extends in a width direction of the water intake and is disposed higher than the support shaft body; and a winch which is disposed at a downstream side of an intake channel rather than the support shaft body and configured to take up and feed out a long cable. A cable fed out of the winch is wound on the guide body and a distal end of the cable is connected to another end side of the flexible net member.
