LINEAR MATERIAL UNWINDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear material unwinding device where the overrun of a reel is prevented, so that the linear material wound on the reel is prevented from being loosened.SOLUTION: The linear material unwinding device 10 includes a device body 12 provided with the linear material 11, and a storage case 14 for storing the device body 12. The device body 12 includes the reel 18 rotatably positioned in the storage case. The reel 18 includes a barrel 26 on which the linear material 11 is wound, and a pair of flanges 28 provided at both axial sides of the barrel 26. The storage case 14 includes a feed-out port 50 through which the linear material 11 is fed out, and a flap 52 swingingly provided at the feed-out port 50. The flap 52 is provided so that the orientation direction thereof is opposite to the rotating direction of the reel, also, the width in the reel axis direction is formed nearly equal to the width between the flange parts 28, and provided so that it may contact with the pair of flanges 28.
