REAR VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear vehicle body structure that can efficiently disperse loads transmitted from a rear suspension to a sub-frame, to a rear side frame and a cross member.SOLUTION: The sub side members 51 and 52 of a sub-frame 16 includes: center parts 56 and 61 curved to project toward the longitudinal center line of a car body; front extended parts 57 and 62 extended to incline from the front ends of the center parts 56 and 61 to the car body front outside; and rear extended parts 58 and 63 extended to incline from the rear ends of the center parts 56 and 61 to the car body rear outside, and are formed roughly into U shapes to project toward the longitudinal center line of the car body. The center parts 56 and 61 and front and rear sub cross members 51 and 52 constitute a rectangular frame body 46. The front extended parts 57 and 62 and the rear extended parts 58 and 63 are connected to or near the coupled parts of the front and rear cross members 14 and 15 and the right and left rear side frames 11 and 12.
