PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device that reconciles a low height and a high gain.SOLUTION: An element 3 of an antenna device 1 comprises a rod-shaped raised portion 30 and an extended portion 31 like an existing inverted L antenna. An element 4 is raised in a spaced relationship to the element 3. A parasitic electrical capacitance exists between the extended portion 31 of the element 3 and a ground land 20, and a parasitic electrical capacitance also exists between the element 3 and the element 4. A current is thus induced in the element 4 to generate a magnetic field on the element 4 and form an inductance component. This can cancel a reactance component of a total impedance of the antenna device 1 to achieve 50-Ω matching and thereby implement both a low height and a high gain.
