RETRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an equipment configuration and additional installation construction for retransmitting a terrestrial digital television broadcast signal of at least one wave concerning an existing retransmission apparatus.SOLUTION: A reception device 2 converts terrestrial digital television broadcast signals of multiple waves into optical signals and supplies the signals to a transmission device 22 through one optical fiber 20a in multi-core optical fiber 20. The transmission device 22 restores the supplied optical signals to the original terrestrial digital television broadcast signals, and supplies them to a transmission antenna 28. An additional reception device 34 converts the terrestrial digital television broadcast signal of at least one wave into an optical signal and supplies the signal to an additional transmission device 36 through the other optical fiber 20b in the multi-core optical fiber 20. The additional transmission device 36 restores the transmitted optical signal to the original terrestrial digital television broadcast signal and supplies the signal to an additional transmission antenna 40.
