Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance accuracy of identifying a traveling lane on which another vehicle is traveling and improve reliability of support control of driving operations, in a driving support device.SOLUTION: A driving support device is provided with: lane width acquisition means 1 for acquiring a lane width of a road on which a vehicle carrying the device is traveling; other vehicle position acquisition means 3 for acquiring a position of another vehicle traveling around the vehicle; identification means 5 for identifying a traveling lane of the other vehicle on the basis of the lane width acquired by the lane width acquisition means 1 and the position acquired by the other vehicle position acquisition means 3; and control means 6 for executing support control for avoiding contact of the vehicle and the other vehicle when the traveling lane of the other vehicle is adjacent to a traveling lane of the vehicle.
