NAIL PRINTING DEVICE AND PRINTING CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nail printing device that can print a nail design on a nail portion and that can perform trial printing allowing a user to confirm a finished state of a case where the nail design is printed on the nail portion, and to provide a printing control method.SOLUTION: Of a nail printing mode that prints on a nail portion T and a trial printing mode that prints on trial printing paper 8, printing is performed by switching a printing mode in accordance with a selected printing mode. The printing mode is controlled in such a manner that: if the nail printing mode is selected, printing is performed so as to obtain a printing pitch finer in a region corresponding to both width-direction end parts of the nail portion T than in the width-direction center part thereof and that: if the trial printing mode is selected, printing is performed in which pixels are thinned out in a region corresponding to both width-direction ends of the nail portion. When the nail printing mode is selected, the printing mode is controlled in such a manner that printing by underlayer ink is performed using a printing head for the underlayer ink on the portion to be printed first. When the trial printing mode is selected, the printing mode is controlled in such a manner that printing is performed using only a printing head for ink.
