METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SPHERICAL BODY SUCTION HEAD, SPHERICAL BODY SUCTION HEAD, AND SPHERICAL BODY MOUNTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a spherical body suction head which reduces a manufacturing cost without requiring advanced technologies.SOLUTION: A suction head 11 includes a main body 21 which has a box shape with an opening 42a on a top end 21a side, a plate-like porous body 22 disposed on the main body 21 to close the opening 42a, and an arranging sheet 23 disposed on an outside surface 22a side of the porous body 22 with insertion holes 51 to arrange spherical bodies. The suction head 11 sucks the spherical bodies at places, where the insertion holes 51 are formed, by sucking them through the porous body 22 when an internal space 42 formed by the main body 21 and the porous body 22 is depressurized. In a method of manufacturing the suction head 11, the internal space 42 is depressurized under a state the porous body 22 is arranged on the main body 21, then a sheet body 24 is sucked to the outside surface 22a of the porous body 22 to make the arranging sheet 23 by forming the insert holes 51 in the sucked sheet body 24, thereby manufacturing the suction head 11.
