GARBAGE DISPOSAL APPARATUS AND GARBAGE DISPOSAL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal apparatus and method, allowing more efficient decomposition treatment of garbage by improving stirring efficiency, and allowing compactization.SOLUTION: Blenders 20, 21 disposed in parallel with each other in a processing tank 11 have two kinds of perpendicular blades spirally mounted on a rotating shaft, one being an inner belt-shaped perpendicular blade and the other being an outer belt-shaped perpendicular blade. The inner belt-shaped perpendicular blade is processed such that the total of an area of a contact face between the inner belt-shaped perpendicular blade and a content and the total of an area of a contact face between the outer belt-shaped perpendicular blade and the content are almost equal, so that the content in the processing tank 11 forms a circulating flow that is not seen in a conventional garbage disposal apparatus at each of upper and lower parts of the rotating shaft, and the stirring efficiency is improved without the content being congested in the processing tank 11.
