IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for other users not to look at inherent additional information related to each user's taste and the like and for all users to look at and listen to a content image in common in an image apparatus designed with an intention for a plurality of users to look at and listen to a single screen such as a TV.SOLUTION: An image display system 100 is used when a plurality of users looks at a content image displayed on a screen 10a. The image display system 100 includes: a plurality of eyeglass devices 20 each of which each user wears; a user identification part 41 that identifies each user; and an image display part 42 that displays an additional information image inherent to each user identified by the user identification part 41 along with the content image on the screen 10a. The eyeglass device 20 is provided with an additional information image selection mechanism that transmits only additional information image of a user who wears the eyeglass device 20 among a plurality of additional information images along with the content image.
