PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element with longer life, and provide a light-emitting device, a display device, and an electronic appliance including the light-emitting element.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element 1 includes: an anode 3; a cathode 9; a light-emitting layer 6 provided between the anode 3 and the cathode 9 and emitting light by supplying current between the anode 3 and the cathode 9; and an electron transport layer 7 provided between the light-emitting layer 6 and the cathode 9, and containing an amine based compound. The light-emitting element 1 includes an electron injection intermediate layer 11 having electron injection property provided between and in contact with the electron transport layer 7 and the light-emitting layer 6.
