Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting method of a thermal fuse, capable of mounting a thermal fuse without affecting a mounting substrate.SOLUTION: The mounting method of a thermal fuse of this invention is the method of mounting the thermal fuse including: a first metal terminal 11 and a second metal terminal 12 comprising Cu; a fusible alloy 14 which is bridged between one end 11a of the first metal terminal 11 and one end 12a of the second metal terminal 12, and around which flux 13 is applied; insulators 15 and 16 which are provided so as to cover the fusible alloy 14; and a body part 17 comprising the fusible alloy 14 and the insulators 15 and 16. By performing laser irradiation in the state of abutting a metal body 23 to an upper surface of the first metal terminal 11 and the second metal terminal 12, the first metal terminal 11 and the second metal terminal 12 are connected to a pair of land patterns 22 formed on an upper surface of a mounting substrate 21.
