PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device which is unlikely to receive an effect of expansion or contraction of an adhesive due to a surrounding environment even with uneven application of the adhesive and is capable of restraining performance from being reduced.SOLUTION: An optical pickup device which reads information recorded in an optical disc comprises an optical pickup case 92 and a half mirror (an optical component) 98 which is adhered to the optical pickup case 92. The optical pickup case 92 has protrusion portions 2 where the optical component 98 is adhered thereto. An angle θ between a side surface of the protruding portion 2b and a bonding surface of the protruding portion 2a is equal to or less than 90 degrees and a length of the side surface of the protruding portion 2b is longer than a height from a main surface of the case 92 to the bonding surface of the protruding portion 2a.
