PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smaller area and low power consumption of a control circuit in an optical disk drive.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device (10) for generating a recording clock signal for recording data on an optical disk (101) and generating playback data corresponding to the data recorded on the optical disk generates a recording clock signal (204) of a frequency corresponding to a wobble shape of the optical disk on the basis of signals (125, 126) read from the optical disk, and generates playback data by sampling an analog signal (128) played back from the optical disk by a playback clock signal generated on the basis of the recording clock signal.
