Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound wave generator capable of oscillating sound waves with high sound pressure with less consumption of compression gas, and of which the long life operation is possible.SOLUTION: In a sound wave generator including: a diaphragm 3; a holding part 16 which holds the diaphragm 3; a mouth piece 4 which has a rim 17; a pressure accumulator 19 provided outside the mouth piece 4; a compression gas supply system 10 which supplies compression gas 2 to the pressure accumulator 19; and an acoustic conduit which is formed of the mouth piece 4, a resonance cylinder 7, and a horn 8, it is provided with means for pressing the diaphragm 3 to the rim 17 of the mouth piece 4 with compression gas 25 from the rear side of the diaphragm 3.
