MOVABLE PARTITION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable partition device which is capable of providing a half-closed space and is usable as a desk in addition to the function of partitioning or opening a space.SOLUTION: A movable partition device 1 comprises a first wall material 10, a second wall material 20, a top plate 30, and a top plate holding part 50. The first wall material 10 is held along a vertical direction so that one end side in a width direction is moved along a rail 60 provided on an upper part of a room. A second wall material 20 is held along the vertical direction so that one end side in the width direction is moved along the rail 60, and the other end side in the width direction is connected to the other end side in the width direction of the first wall material 10 through a hinge. The top plate 30 is held such that an upper surface is roughly vertical to the first wall material 10 and the second wall material 20 in the state of crossing the first wall material 10 and the second wall material 20 roughly at the right angle. The top plate holding part 50 is provided on the second wall material 20, and holds the top plate 30 such that the upper surface of the top plate 30 becomes roughly vertical to the first wall material 10 and the second wall material 20 respectively when the top plate 30 is to be used.
