METHOD FOR REPAIRING ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for repairing an elevator which comprises steps of connecting a maintenance operation control device which is arranged on an elevator car and configured to send a control signal of the elevator car to an elevator control panel to the elevator control panel by using a temporary control cable having the length respondent to an ascent/descent distance of a hoistway, and elevating and lowering the elevator car.SOLUTION: The method for repairing the elevator comprises the steps of: withdrawing an existing elevator control panel; arranging a new elevator control panel 15; connecting the new elevator control panel 15 to the maintenance operation control device 21 which is arranged on the elevator car 9 and used for outputting the control signal for controlling the ascent/descent of the elevator car 9 to the new elevator control panel 15 by using the temporary control cable 40 having a plurality of first connection cables 42, the adjacent ones of which are connected to each other while interposing a connection means 50a or 50b therebetween and which are suspended in the hoistway 2; and controlling the height of the elevator car 9 by the maintenance operation control device 21 and performing work in the hoistway.
