Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for automatically removing water or moisture accumulated in a breathing circuit.SOLUTION: The device includes a housing having an inflow port and outlet port for the breathing circuit and a water drainage port. A float body in the housing seals the drainage port by engaging with a float valve seat, and moves to release the drainage port when sufficient fluid accumulates in an inner space of the float body. The float body accounts for a large part of an inner capacity of the compressible housing. The water is automatically removed by either a vapor permeable container connected to the housing so as to receive the flow from the drainage port, or a device connected to a suction force supply source. The housing furthermore includes at least one bleed port for rheologically connecting the suction force supply source therearound. The bleed port cooperates with a valve element, and equalizes a pressure difference between an inner space of the housing and a suction force integration part when the water does not accumulate in the device. |
