TOOL FOR INDIRECT HOT LINE WORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for indirect hot line work enabling a user to work without holding it in another way in a work such as straightening an unnecessary bent of an electric wire.SOLUTION: A tool for indirect hot line work 1 comprises: a holding part 2 having a pair of holding pieces 2a, 2b; a manipulation part for manipulating the holding part; a supporting/transmitting part for supporting the holding part and the manipulation part in a manner that they are held apart from each other, and also transmitting manipulating force being input via the manipulation part to the holding part; and an angle adjustment part 5 for adjusting a set angle of the holding part. The angle adjustment part comprises: a pin reception part; angle adjustment pins 12, 14 including pin parts that are inserted into the pin reception parts and flanged parts formed at one end of the pin parts; an elastic body to energize the pin part in the direction opposite to the flanged part; and a plurality of recessed engagement parts 11, 13 with which the pin part is engaged. A cylindrical roller member 25 is rotatably and externally fitted around the exterior of the pin reception part, and an engagement mechanism is provided, between the pin part and the pin reception part, that prevents the angle adjustment pin from moving in the axial direction in a state where the pin part is engaged with the recessed engagement part.
