OVERTURN PROTECTOR OF TELEVISION RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conspicuously display shock relieving operation by an air bag in an overturn protector of a television receiver for directly detecting a tilt of an image display section in the television receiver with an acceleration sensor and operating the air bag.SOLUTION: The acceleration sensor 40 is arranged in the image display section 20 of the television receiver 10. The acceleration sensor 40 detects that a tilt angle of the image display section 20 exceeds a reference value, and outputs a reference value excess signal. The air bag 50 is installed in the image display section 20. When an inflator 55 is started, the air bag 50 expands and protrudes to both forward and backward sides of the image display section 20. The air bag 50 is formed of cloth or nonwoven cloth having permeability.
