Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase electrification efficiency by getting a grid electrode closer to a photoreceptor drum as much as possible, in a scorotron electrifying device used for the photoreceptor drum.SOLUTION: A grid electrode 23 is curved to be concave toward a photoreceptor drum 13 and arranged so that a part facing the downstream side of the photoreceptor drum 13 in its rotational direction is closest to the photoreceptor drum 13. The downstream side of the grid electrode 23 is close to the photoreceptor drum 13, so that a charge can be efficiently supplied to the photoreceptor drum 13. Further, the grid electrode 23 is curved so that an interval between the grid electrode 23 and the photoreceptor drum 13 does not become excessively long. As a result, the charge can be stably supplied to the photoreceptor drum 13 at high speed, without increasing a voltage applied to a discharge wire 22.
