Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress efficiency deterioration and reliability deterioration caused by foreign materials since foreign materials with large particle sizes may well have risk for getting into a compressor mechanism part, so that a condition that sealing of a compression chamber is not necessarily sufficient may well occur, and possibility of seizure of bearings or the like influencing on reliability when being in a severe case may well be predicted.SOLUTION: In a refrigerant compressor having an electric motor comprising a stator and a rotor, and a rotating shaft fixed on the rotor and rotated with the electric motor, and feeding oil to each part with a feed oil passage arranged on the rotating shaft to change the volume of the compression chamber with rotation of the rotating shaft so as to compress a refrigerant, an enlarged space is constituted between the rotating shaft and the rotor, and the rotating shaft has a hole which is a foreign material discharge passage communicating with the feed oil passage and the enlarged space so as to guide the foreign materials flowing in the feed oil passage to the enlarged space.
