HYDRAULIC CONTROL VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a variable valve mechanism and a functional component which operates in association therewith by use of a common hydraulic control valve.SOLUTION: The hydraulic control valve V includes: a valve housing 31 having a plurality of housing-side oil passages which communicate with a hydraulic source, variable valve mechanisms 11, 12 and 13, and functional components 14 and 15, respectively; a spool 38 housed in the valve housing 31 and having a plurality of spool-side oil passages; and a step motor 41 for turning the spool 38. As compared with a case where a dedicated hydraulic control valve is provided for each of the variable valve mechanisms 11, 12 and 13, and the functional components 14 and 15, the hydraulic pressure can be supplied to them appropriately in a mutually related manner, and the number of components can be reduced to contribute to cost reduction. In addition, since the housing-side oil passages are arranged in three stages in an axial L direction, many oil passages can be arranged compactly to reduce the size of the hydraulic control valve V.
