Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel abrasion detecting device and a walk assisting unit having the same, capable of clearly expressing the tire replacing timing, while reducing cost.SOLUTION: This wheel abrasion detecting device 300 includes a detecting mark part 310 arranged on a side surface of a tire 400 of a wheel 100. The detecting mark part 310 is arranged by laminating a painting part 311 constituted of a predetermined color and a core member 312 constituted of a color different from that of the painting part 311. When the tire 400 is abraded to a replacing timing level CLV, the painting part 311 of the detecting mark part 310 is abraded, and the core member 312 is exposed.
