Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purification apparatus utilizing a photocatalyst that drops the pH of treatment water and inhibits the photocatalyst from dropping the activeness.SOLUTION: A water purification apparatus 202 is provided with a treatment water acidification unit 203 as a pH adjustment unit which drops pH of the treatment water on the front stage of a photocatalyst unit 204 as an organic matter decomposition unit in water utilizing the photocatalyst. After the pH of the treatment water drops, the structure where the treatment water is supplied into the photocatalyst unit 204 in the water utilizing the photocatalyst can suppress the activeness of the organic matter decomposition of the photocatalyst from dropping and reduce the frequency of maintenance.
