Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a backlight device capable of brightly irradiating the center of a display panel, and capable of realizing a narrow bezel.SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a display panel, a first light source, a second light source, a third light source and a light guide plate. The first light source irradiates light toward a first region of the display panel. The second light source is fitted further inside than an edge of the display panel to face a different direction from the first light source. The third light source is fitted further inside than the edge of the display panel to face a different direction from the first and second light sources. The light guide plate guides light irradiated from the second and third light sources toward a second region closer to the edge of the display panel than the first region in an area on the display panel.
