PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shopping site managing apparatus and method enabling merchandise vendors to register, change, or delete in a simpler form specific prices assigned to a plurality of prescribed merchandise items and further to collectively change the specific prices of the plurality of prescribed merchandise items.SOLUTION: A shopping site managing apparatus 1 comprises: a price tag information DB 131 that stores account settlement units indicating only specific prices assigned to a plurality of prescribed merchandise items in association with price tag IDs that identify specific price tags assigned to the plurality of prescribed merchandise items; a merchandise DB 132 that stores non-price information pertaining to the plurality of prescribed merchandise items in association with merchandise IDs each identifying one or another of the plurality of prescribed merchandise items; merchandise registration means 141 that stores into the merchandise DB, in response to acceptance of the price tag IDs regarding the plurality of prescribed merchandise items, the price tag IDs in association with the merchandise IDs; and price tag information changing means 143 that stores any change, in response to acceptance of a request for changing the account settlement units of the price tag information DB, into the price tag information DB.
