ACCELERATION CORRECTION DEVICE, ACCELERATION CORRECTION METHOD AND ACCELERATION CORRECTION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acceleration correction device, an acceleration correction method and an acceleration correction program which calculate acceleration caused by a vehicle by eliminating an acceleration error caused by gravity included in acceleration data recorded in a drive recorder.SOLUTION: An acceleration correction device comprises: a data acquisition section which acquires a plurality of travel data including acceleration data as well as GPS positioning data measured while a vehicle travels, and time information relevant to measurement of the travel data; a gravity associated acceleration deriving section which calculates an estimated location of the vehicle based on the acceleration data included in the plurality of the acquired travel data as well as the acquired time information, and derives gravity associated acceleration, a gravitational acceleration component acting in a traveling direction of the vehicle among the gravitational acceleration acting on the vehicle, based on a difference between a positioning location obtained from the GPS positioning data and the estimated location; and a correction section which subtracts the gravitation associated acceleration from the acquired acceleration data.
