Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a gradation display with an inexpensive structure in a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal control device which achieves a gradation display with an inexpensive structure having reduced ROM and RAM capacities: sequentially acquires binary display data of a frame buffer RAM 204; sets the display data at any one of N bits of each pixel of a RAM 105 for display with a display data port 207 and transmits the display data at two gradations (white or black); outputs a switch flag port 208 which is a switch flag of an intermediate gradation color; inputs the data to any one of N bits of each pixel different from that of the display data port 207; transmits and combines the binary image data with the two gradations (intermediate gradation color or white) which has been acquired from a RAM 203 to a part of one frame (one screen) from the second output port as data for intermediate gradation color; and enables the display with three gradations (white, black and intermediate gradation color) according to the set value of a gradation pallet table.
