Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary damper which has an elastic vane excellent in durability and which enables long-term maintenance of unidirectional braking characteristics brought about by the elastic vane generating large braking against the one-direction rotation of a rotor and generating small braking against the other-direction rotation of the rotor.SOLUTION: The rotary damper 1 includes a synthetic resin storage body 4 storing viscous fluid 3 in the inside 2, and the rotor 10 which is disposed in the inside 2 of the storage body 4 rotatably in an R-direction with the axial center O as the center and which partitions the inside 2 of the storage body 4 into two chambers 6 and 7 and two chambers 8 and 9 in cooperation with an inner surface 5 of the storage body 4.
