PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marker capable of arranging a retractable core to be drawn to the inner wall surface of a shaft tube.SOLUTION: The core 2 applied to the marker 1 that has a core retraction mechanism includes: a tip body 21 that can expose the tip side from a tip opening 4a of a shaft tube 4; an ink storage 22 to supply the ink for marker to the tip body 21; and a relay 23 that extends between the tip body 21 and the ink storage 22. This relay part 23 is smaller than the diameter of the ink storage 22 and has flexibility. Accordingly, it will not be necessary to make the entire core sag by adopting of the relay part 23. The tip body part 21 is enabled to be shaken right and left, and the deflection restoring force that returns the deflection is possessed though the relay part 23 soon will be a state in the steady state. This relay part 23 can be easily sagged even if using the same material as the ink storage 22 by reducing it more than the diameter of the ink storage 22.
