Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an oxidative decomposition method of a phosphorus based organic compound in which firstly, the computational algorithm of the necessary total mole number of an OH radical or the like is established, secondly, the automating, controlling, and tooling are achieved.SOLUTION: In the oxidative decomposition method, about the phosphorus based organic compound of low degradability, a constituent that contains a phosphorus atom is made a treatment object 1, and the treatment object 1 in an aqueous solution is oxidation-decomposed by an OH radical generated at a Fenton treatment tank 4. The oxidative decomposition method includes: a first process in which when a hydroxyl group exists, the OH radical oxidizes it by depriving the treatment object 1 of a hydrogen atom, oneself returns to water, is separated to the outside from the system, and makes an oxygen atom have an unpaired electron, or a molecule to be liberated to the outside of the system; and a second process in which when an atom has an unpaired electron in the treatment object 1, the OH radical adds to the unpaired electron of the atom and a hydroxyl group is generated. Finally, phosphoric acid is generated.
