Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an oxidative decomposition method of a sulphur based organic compound in which firstly, the computational algorithm of the necessary total mole number of an OH radical or the like is established, secondly, the automating, controlling, and tooling are achieved.SOLUTION: In the oxidative decomposition method, the constituent that contains sulfur atom of a sulphur based organic compound of low degradability is oxidation-decomposed by an OH radical generated by a Fenton treatment tank 4. In addition, the oxidative decomposition method includes: a first process in which when a hydroxyl group exists, the OH radical oxidizes it by deprivation of a hydrogen atom and makes an oxygen atom a double bond; a second process in which when a hydrogen atom exists, the OH radical oxidizes it by deprivation of a hydrogen atom and makes a sulfur atom an unpaired electron; and a third process in which when an unpaired electron exists, the OH radical adds to an unpaired electron of an atom, and a hydroxyl group is generated. Finally, when the OH radical oxidizes it by depriving a water molecule of a hydrogen atom, the hydrogen at a nascent state is generated, and sulfuric acid is generated with the reduction in the fourth process.
