Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce a thickness of front surface side substrate to a degree that a problem of view angle dependency is solved, while avoiding potential for weakness due to thinness, by arranging an organic color filter (CF) layer in a manner capable of solving a problem of heat resistance.SOLUTION: A plasma display panel includes: a front plate 20 provided with a display electrode pair 5 on a front face side substrate 21; a back plate 8 provided with an address electrode 10 on a back face side substrate 9, ribs 12 zoning discharge cells each provided on an intersection of the address electrode and the display electrode pair, and a phosphor layer 13 provided between the ribs; an organic CF layer 23 arranged on the front plate corresponding to the phosphor layer of each discharge cell; and a frame-like seal layer 25 sealing between the front plate and the back plate. The plasma display panel includes a thin plate region 21a corresponding to a display region on which a group of the discharge cells is arranged. A thickness of the thin plate region is thinner than a thickness of an outer periphery region 21b on an outer periphery side of the thin plate region. The organic CF layer is arranged on the side opposite to a discharge space in the thin plate region and the seal layer is provided on the outer periphery region. |
