HOT-WATER STORAGE TANK UNIT AND WATER HEATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-water storage tank unit in which an outer-shell case is not plastically deformed even when an impact is applied to the hot-water storage unit during carriage or installation.SOLUTION: The unit includes: a hot water storage tank for storing heated water; a heat insulating material for insulating heat on at least an upper part of the hot-water storage tank; the outer-shell case covering the heat insulating material; and a supporting member that is arranged between the outer-shell case and the heat insulating material, of which one end comes into contact with the outer-shell case and the other end is joined to the heat insulating material, and that partially supports the outer-shell case through the heat insulating material. The supporting material includes a low rigid body having low rigidity and a high rigid body having high rigidity in series, from the outer-shell case to the heat insulating material. At least one end of the supporting member is configured with either the low rigid body or the high rigid body.
