WORK SHIELDING APPARATUS FOR ESCALATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work shielding apparatus capable of improving a working environment for an escalator installed outside and allowing easy assembling at a working site.SOLUTION: The work shielding apparatus includes a pair of upper frames 1, 2, a pair of lower frames 3, 4, handrail grips 28, 31, and a shielding device 32. The upper frames 1, 2, the upper frame 1 and the lower frame 3, and the upper frame 2 and the lower frame 4 are supported in space adjustable manners by supporting frames 5, 16, 27, respectively. The shielding device 32 includes a supporting shaft 34 having an axial direction in the mutual direction of the upper frames 1, 2, a screen 35 wound on the supporting shaft 34, and a hook 36 provided at the tip of the screen 35.
