PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save energy positively and to prevent the deterioration of the cooked rice.SOLUTION: Control means (microcomputer 60) has a constitution enabling execution of a normal rice cooking control having a first temperature elevation step to heat the inside of an inner pot 10 to the first temperature elevation setting temperature (Tr1), and a first power control step to heat the inside of the inner pot 10, while keeping its boiling state, to the first dry-up setting temperature (Tb1) higher than the first temperature elevation setting temperature (Tr1); and a power-saving rice cooking control having a second temperature elevation step to heat the inside of the inner pot 10 to the second temperature elevation setting temperature (Tr2) higher than the first temperature elevation setting temperature (Tr1), and a second power control step to heat the inside of the inner pot 10, while keeping its boiling state, to the second dry-up setting temperature (Tb2) higher than the second temperature elevation setting temperature (Tr2) and lower than the first dry-up setting temperature (Tb1). Further, it has a steaming step after the power control step, and the second steaming setting time (ts2) of the second steaming step of the power-saving cooking control is shorter than the first steaming setting time (ts1) of the first steaming step of the normal rice cooking control.
