Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable acquisition of more accurate information on an object to be read.SOLUTION: A reading apparatus capable of reading an object to be read by emitting light to the object to be read from a light source and receiving reflected light from the object to be read with an image pickup element comprises a plurality of image pickup elements installed at different positions. The image pickup elements are installed at different angles with respect to a surface to be read of the object to be read, respectively. Then, by comparing read values obtained by the image pickup elements, an attribute of an image expressed on the object to be read is determined.
