FILTRATION MEMBRANE, CLEANING MEANS OF FILTRATION MEMBRANE, AND SELECTION METHOD OF PRETREAT MEANS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily and precisely selecting a filtration membrane suitable for respective liquids to be treated using a small amount of liquid sample in a short time when treating at least the liquid to be treated contains a component either of an inorganic matter and an organic matter by a membrane filtration method, and to provide a method of selecting a cleaning means of the filtration membrane and a method of selecting a pretreat means of the filtration membrane.SOLUTION: The method of selecting a filtration membrane for use in a liquid treatment process for treating a liquid to be treated includes a step of measuring an adsorbed amount of one or more species of components of inorganic matters and organic matters contained in the liquid to be treated, for each of a plurality of filtration membranes, and selecting a filtration membrane having shown the lowest adsorbed amount of the component in question, as a filtration membrane for use in a liquid treatment process.
