PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual information protection system in which personal information on a transmission side can be restricted by the side providing it without using a special management device, without taking costs and time and labor of processing.SOLUTION: The individual information protection system is configured to transmit and receive personal information between terminals 10 and 22 through a communication system 21. The terminal provided with the individual information includes a tamper-resistant data preservation part 16A for preserving received individual information, a data preservation time recording part 33 for timing and recording duration from the time of receiving the individual information, determination means (step S206) for permitting read of the individual information when the duration does not exceed reference possible time and denying the read of the individual information otherwise, when reading the individual information from the data preservation part, and display execution means (step S207) for displaying the individual information (personal information) at a display part 12 or the like when the determination means determines that the read of the individual information is to be permitted, or the like.
